At this point, your should have a fully-functioning hackintosh! If there is an issue with this guide or files I attached HMU and I'll do my best to fix them. Before commenting though, make sure you read the Common Problems with Mojave thread. If the Dell dock does not work, try changing the SMBIOS to Macbook 9,1.

In Printers there should only be one cp1025 printer listed. If there is a duplicate then delete it.Another thing I do is reset the printer which is done by powering off (unplug it) then power up holding the resume button down for 20 seconds before releasing it. Then go to printers as this will surely add a duplicate printer, delete the old one. Hope it is simple as that. Also, delete any HP software as that is only needed if you wish to install a wireless printer. You will not be able to load the 'missing plugin' from there. I have some Problems:.
All hplip-installer print the Error: error: linuxmint-18.3 version is not supported, so all dependencies may not be installed. However trying to install using linuxmint-18.2 version packages. I used any installer from hplip-3.16.7.run up to hplip-3.17.11.runThe plugin download ( hp-plugin )have the error: error: Plugin download failed with error code = 8error: file does not match its checksum. File may have been corrupted or alteredSo bring the other commands also errors:. hp-check:warning: Failed to read /etc/cups/ppd/HP-LaserJet-CP1025.ppd ppd filePPD Description:Printer status: printer HP-LaserJet-CP1025 is idle. Enabled since Sa 17 Feb 2018 14:45:18 CETerror: Required plug-in status: Not installederror: Plug-ins need to be installed. and hp-setup can.t be correct run because the plugin is missing.I had a older Computer with Linux Mint where the Printer CP1025 is running (I installet the Printer directly after install Sarah.) but when i install the older Linux it will be by installation updateted and i have the same problem.
Often discussed. But again:I have a Laserjet CP1025 color (not the network/wireless version CP1025nw).I work on a Mac with Mojave 10.14.1According to HP the printer is supported under 10.14.
But driver is not listed on the printer page (only up to 10.13.Filter error when trying to print.Drivers of previous versions do not work. The latest one privided by Apple is not working.1) Could HP add pleas the 10.14 driver that I can acces via apple update (dont forget you listed that you support that!) - Does HP has a policy/terms of business how long they are supporting OS updates? The printer is not that old.2) Any other solution known? Thanks! Welcome to HP Support Forums.

Thank you,all the step you mentioned I had already done before. It looks a bit like the standard solution. As stated before the printer is listed as 10.14. Compatible by HP.
However the highest OS on the respective page is 10.13.Many others seem to have the same problem without getting real help by HP. Even posts marked as solution are not a solution (only for the network/wireless version cp1025nw solutions have been offered).RegardsBrinki66wrote:Welcome to HP Support Forums.
